My client is seeking an Interior Architect to join their dynamic team of skilled professionals, including architectural designers, planning consultants, structural engineers, project managers, construction teams, and interior designers. Overview of this role:
As an Interior Architect, you will manage a team of freelancers and external design partners, overseeing the design and execution of projects from concept to completion. You will combine creative vision with practical project management skills to ensure high-quality designs are delivered efficiently. You will collaborate with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams to deliver interior solutions that meet client needs and budgets.
Responsibilities for this role:
- Oversee multiple interior design projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and exceptional quality.
- Coordinate project timelines, milestones, and deliverables with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Manage material procurement and furnishing specifications to ensure quality standards are met.
- Drive the creative process, encouraging innovative design solutions and maintaining design integrity across all projects.
- Support clients in making informed decisions on layout, spatial planning, material selection, color schemes, and lighting design.
- Review and approve final design presentations, construction documents, and specifications for sign-off by the Lead Construction Architect.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their vision, needs, and constraints.
- Set and communicate deadlines with clients for decisions and manage client expectations.
- Present design concepts and proposals effectively communicating design intent and solutions.
- Coordinate feedback on design elements between clients, Construction Team, and external partners to drive solutions within agreed deadlines.
- Ensure all project work meets internal quality standards and complies with relevant regulations and codes.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor implementation of designs and ensure adherence to plans.
