My client is seeking a talented Architect or Architectural Designer to join their dynamic team in Greater Manchester. Their practice excels in delivering a diverse range of projects across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, retail, cultural, and community developments.

Responsibilities for this role

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading a small group of professionals to deliver projects within a designated area. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional client service, fostering strong relationships through regular communication and ensuring repeat business.
• Maintaining in-depth knowledge of projects, from initial brief to completion, and staying up to date with relevant regulations and legislation.
• Collaborating with colleagues to track project progress and meet set performance targets.
• Demonstrating expertise in the UK planning policies and building regulations
• Overseeing the work of team members, utilising internal tools to plan and manage resources and workload.
• Assisting with proposal preparation and scope documentation.
• Showcasing financial acumen by managing project finances.

Requirements for this role

• A positive attitude, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with knowledge of Photoshop and hand sketching desirable.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong organizational skills, emotional intelligence, and excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening).
